Job Description:

 

·         The Cache Developer Position is responsible for providing Administration, Technical and Engineering Support for the Sutter Health Enterprise EHR Cache Environment.

·         The Cache Developer Position Supports the Epic Cache Database Environment.

·         The position handles assigned incident tickets, service requests and daily oncall support.

·         The position assists with software updates, environment enhancement requests, new environment requests along with the daily maintenance of the system.

·         Specific deliverables for Operations are daily ticket/work request handling and event management in terms of overall availability/performance. Project deliverables include system specifications, implementation plans and ongoing performance management and capacity planning for the existing devices within the Cache Environment.

·         These services require 24/7/365 availability and support, which may include off-shifts scheduling. 

·         The Cache Developer will also; collaborate on and implement architecture recommendations, perform design related to application integration, system administration, problem management, preventive maintenance, performance tuning, all within best practice standards.

 

Specific job specifications:

Cache certification in UNIX - Required

Chronicles certification  - Desired

At least 5 years’ experience in maintaining large Epic environments  Required

SAN knowledge  Desired"
