Mobile Lead Developer:

 

Location: Waltham, MA

Duration: Fulltime

 

Job Description:

 

Primary Skills : C, Objective C, C++,  XCode,  PHP, SQLITE, MySQL, iPhone/iPad OS platform,  SVN, Unfuddle, , CSS, HTML, ASP, XML, JSON, ZOHO, Version One, iOS 5.x

 

Secondary Skills : CoreLocation, CoreGraphics, MediaPlayer, CoreData, MapKit, CoreAnimation, UIKit, Twitter

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs)            :               5+ Yrs in IT and 3+ Years of experience in Mobile Development

Necessary Skills               :               •              Proficient in Objective C, C and Object Oriented programming languages concepts.

 

•              Complete understanding of iPhone/iPad/iPod architecture and various versions of iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK)  including Xcode IDE, Instruments, iPhone simulator and frameworks.

•              Expertise on  databases like MySQL,.

•              Documenting client’s requirements and estimating the feasibility and hours to generate a project plan and overall application development.

•              Strong experience in testing applications including writing test cases, unit testing and beta testing.

•              Full understanding of latest version of Xcode 4.4.5 and iOS 6.0.

•              Experience with project planning and management.

•              Good experience in objected oriented analysis and design using Unified Process.

•              Exposure in software version tools like Apache Subversion (SVN), Unfuddle, etc.

•              Expertise in multiple life cycle methodologies and design methods including Agile and Object oriented analysis and design.

 

Desired Skills                    •              Experience in API’s including CoreLocation, CoreGraphics, MediaPlayer, CoreData, MapKit, CoreAnimation, UIKit, Twitter.

•              Problem solving oriented, able to co-ordinate the analysis and production of a development team with good inter-personal and negotiation skills

•              Strong ability to lead and manage development, quality assurance teams and work in Onsite – Offshore Model

•             

Roles & Responsibilities              :               •              Facilitate in project planning and management

•              Requirement Analysis

•              Co-ordinate with Offshore Development, Testing & Client Liason

•              Onsite Technical Architect/Lead Designer

 

Generic Managerial Skills            :               •              Able to co-ordinate with Offshore team in India

•              Able to distribute work to offshore team and plan/track tasks/activities

•              Report progress/challenges to Project Manager
