Job Description:

 

 

Essential Skill(s)

 

·         Mainframe Testing Should be capable of Test Architecturing and Solutioning, Technical Guidance and Resolution.

·         Should have advanced knowledge in any of the mainframe topic.

 

Test Architecting

·         Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.

·         Develops and executes software test plans.

·         Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.

·         Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

·         Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

·         Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

·         Works on problems of highly complex scope, through expert usage of non-standard concepts & principles requiring high levels of judgment & interpretation.

·         Works as a guide and sets directions for medium sized projects of reasonable complexity.

 

System Testing

 

·         Devising Test strategy and preparing test plans.

·         Work with dynamically changing user interface specifications.

·         Architecting Automation framework. Devising mechanisms to make automation scripts resilient to change. (easily configurable)

·         Estimate test effort and automation effort. Capture and analyze test metrics.
