Help Desk Support—Intermediate
Work Location : Dulles, VA
Duration : 6 Months+ Contract
Rate : Market

Responsible for providing first level support for all end-users. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and voice/data communication systems issues.
Escalate calls when appropriate. Write concise, informative tickets.
Follow up on all tickets in a timely manner and follow through to resolution.
Experience using ticketing systems, writing technical support documentation and computer proficiency with hardware and software technologies are required.
The ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure are required.
Be willing to work flexible hours when appropriate. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
1-3 years prior customer service, call center or help desk experience is required.

Microsoft Operating Systems - Windows 7 \ Windows 8 A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in MS Operating system troubleshooting experience.
Microsoft Office 2010 A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in MS Office 2003/2007 troubleshooting experience.
Apple OS X Operating Systems – A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in Apple operating system troubleshooting experience.
Apple OS X Support – A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in RAS (VPN) troubleshooting experience.
Basic understanding of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
A Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in using SCCM for software install/remote support.
(Preferred) Basic understanding of Microsoft Internet Information Service – (FIMS) (Preferred) Certificate maintenance, support, and renewal experience A Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in working with encryption certificates. (Preferred) Basic software\hardware troubleshooting skills. (A+ certification a plus)
A minimum of 1-3 year’s basic hardware/software troubleshooting experience. (Preferred) Basic networking skills to include TCP\IP.(Network + and MCSE certification a plus)
Minimum of 1-3 year’s basic networking troubleshooting experience.
(Preferred) Strong customer service, proven writing, oral, and technical skills.
Minimum of 1-3 year’s IT call center experience.
(Preferred) Self-motivated, flexible, with the ability to work among a team.
Must enjoy working in a fast paced, challenging environment with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload independently.
