Job description :     

 

Provide Solaris UNIX systems administration support

Support the administration of Sun-branded hardware and Sun Solaris operating system, Veritas Storage Foundation and Veritas Cluster Server software. Perform, system audits and troubleshooting. 

Install patch, OS upgrades and mentor less senior level SE's. 

Demonstrate knowledge of standard system startup/shutdown mechanics, installation of standard tools (Apache, gnu, Solaris OS related) and UNIX utilities.

Interact with multiple project teams across all disciplines (networking, database administration, application development and support teams, vendor support). 

Perform scripting in Perl, Shell, or C programming.
