Location: NYC

Description:

 

Skills and Experience Required

•             BA/BS degree focused on Finance, Mathematics, Risk Management and Insurance or Business.  Other degrees considered with equivalent demonstrated work history.

·               Who have experience working on Policy Admin systems as a business analyst and someone who understand the entire lifecycle of a Life Policy.”

•             Expert knowledge on Life and Annuity Policy Lifecycle from new business to claims processing.

•             Understanding of insurance product implementation process

•             Experience with DellSys will be an added advantage 

•             Knowledge of underwriting process for life insurance is preferred

•             Experience preparing and filing financial regulatory reporting required under federal and state statute and supplemental reporting for other agencies

•             Generating and submitting financial statements, exhibits and BlueBook

•             Prepare Statutory Financial Statements in an accurate and timely manner while ensuring they are prepared within NAIC guidelines

•             Review current workpapers, documentation, and submissions for prior years Blue Book and Market Conduct.  

•             Expertise with mapping processes, flow chart, and list out all sources of inputs and outputs

•             Problem solving and solutioning skills.

•             Make recommendations to customers in order to streamline the reporting process

•             Strong client communication skills both written and verbal.

 

Skills and Experience Preferred

 

•             3+ years of experience in a L&A Insurance Carrier

•             Life /Annuity product development experience along with accounting experience

•             BS/BA/MS degree in Finance, Mathematics, Risk Management and Insurance or Economics or other related degree

•             Experience preparing NAIC schedules and Market Conduct
