SAP EHS (Environment, Health and Safety Management) Consultant.

 

Location: Houston/Dallas/San Ontario/TX

Duration: 18+ Months

Rate: Market

 

Description:

 

SAP EH&S IT consultant for 18 month opening to sit in either Ohio or Texas location. Candidates must be US Citizen or Green Card who will act as an individual contributor within a group of IT resources responsible for the deployment and support of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) Enterprise Wide IT Applications. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing World Wide technical support and functional consultation to users of the assigned applications by ensuring that all issues gathered via the different customer support channels are answered and resolved according to the established service levels; this to ensure an effective and efficient use of the IT systems. In addition to technical IT expertise, the selected candidate will be required to maintain a good understanding of business processes supported by the related applications and maintain close alignment with business users of the applications, to plan for changes to the software and ensure it continues to support the business processes into the future. The selected candidate will also participate in project teams through their entire lifecycle, from evaluation of buy vs. build alternatives, to application implementation and support, on issues of leveraging I/T opportunities, evaluation of new technology, evaluation of customer needs, etc.

 

Required Skills:
5 years’ experience in SAP implementation experience. Min 5 years’ experience implementing SAP EH&S Suite (Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Waste Management, IH&S, Waste), 5 years’ experience in design, configure, testing and rolling out end to end processes. Experience in developing Data migration strategy. Experience support/Develop Training documentation. Experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety applications and processes in the Petro-Chemical industry is desired but not required.
