Job Title: Automotive EMC/EMI Consultant

 

Location: Gardena, CA

Min Relevant Experience: 10 +

Rate: Market

 

• Responsible to design EMC / EMI specifications for luxury electric vehicle in line with various global requirements
• Responsible for designing master test requirements to validate EMC / EMI properties of luxury electric vehicle in line with various global requirements
• Provide EMC technical support to vehicle programs and product design teams
• Assist lab architects to design / modify lab environment based on changes
• Assist program to obtain necessary regulatory approvals or self-approvals and perform role of primary interface between regulatory bodies and customer
• Hands-on experience on various automotive EMC standards– CISPR, ISO, SAE, GM and including EV standards
• Hand-on experience on EMC/EMI at various development stages – component, subsystem and automotive
• Ability to perform initial root cause analysis
• Experience on corresponding debugging tools
• Good to have - Antenna / OTA performance testing at various stages – components, IHU, automotive

Soft skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to occasionally travel - domestic and international
