Roles and Responsibilities:

• Jive 8 installation [ on-premise model ]
• Jive SBS Administration/Development with enough Java knowledge to customize/add Jive SBS features.
• Should have server skills to change server settings/restarting servers. 
• Should understand Jive SBS front end level application to support users. 
• Good hands on SQL for querying and generating various reports from database. 
• JIVE SBS customization and Plugin development using Java Struts.
• Maintain, develop, prototype, and test of the required subsystem and its interface to the system
• Interface with project stakeholders to ensure that the system objectives are balanced with overall project objectives
• Provide design ideas to the leadership of the project team
• Represent the team as required
• Assist management in the development of policies and procedures which improve the ability to meet requirements

Skills and Abilities:

 

·         ​Key Skills: Jive 8, Jive plugins, Struts 2, Spring 3, J2EE

• Strong development experience in designing, implementing, and testing Jive Plug-ins and components.
• Jive Development - Experience of 3-5 years
• ​Jive 8 on-premise installation
• ​Jive plugin development
• Theming
• SSO implementation
• SOY, Freemarker
• ​​Should have excellent communication skills both written and oral. 
• Experience working in Jive SBS application's Production Support (Mandatory). 
• Good knowledge of SQL (Mandatory). 
• The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is essential. 
• ​​Self-motivated, directed and passionate about what you do.​
• JEE Development - Experience 6-10 years
• Agile Methodologies - Experience of 2-5 years
• Strong software development skills leading team of developers 
• Outstanding experience in delivering compelling user experiences
