UAT Tester

 

Location: NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Market

 

Roles and Responsibilities :

·         Prepare UAT Test plan and Strategy

·         Define UAT policies and processes to be used during UAT phase 

·         Liaison with Business users and project SMEs to identify UAT scenarios

·         Develop test scenarios based on business process flows

·         Documentation of UAT Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Scripts

·         Definition and preparation of Test Data

·         Perform data preparation activities to support testing

·         Work with business users to perform UAT testing

·         Compile test results and provide daily status reports

·         Analysis of software defects, prioritize and track it to closure

·         Provide training/support to the Business users in the UAT execution phase

·         Participate in testing meetings.

·         Lead and execute PRE UAT testing along with testers

Key Skills

·         Experience in User acceptance testing  in complex project environments

·         Demonstrable drive and influence to achieve tight timescales and targets

·         Highly effective at verbal, written communication and presentation ability

·         Good Analytical skills and essential Functional / Technical skills

·         Able to engage business colleagues

·         Strong stakeholder management experience

·         Self-motivated

·         Strong organization skills

·         Ability to influence and motivate

·         Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

Education / Experience

·         BS Degree in Engineering or Equivalent

·         10-12 years of experience in IT

·         Extensive experience in coordinating and performing UATs across projects / products at client location

·         Experience in Business Process Testing

·         Experience in leading teams

·         Knowledge of Test tools QC / ALM, MS office etc.
