Location: Dallas, TX

Duration:6+ Months

Rate: Market

 

Essential Functions:

•             Work with business stakeholders to understand, refine, and document key requirements.

•             Identify and document business processes and use cases.

•             Perform gap, impact, and risk analysis.

•             Work with end users to understand system needs and issues; identify opportunities for improvement.

•             Support ongoing product maintenance, including production support and cross-team communication.

•             Assist in defining, coordinating, and executing test conditions and acceptance tests.

•             Assist project managers in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

•             Develop internal and external meeting objectives and agendas and facilitate meetings.

•             Attend all project planning priority meetings and provide timely communications to product owner and other project stakeholders.

•             Work closely with other BAs, project manager, product owner, & stakeholders on project priorities.

•             Propose solutions to problems and consider timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing client needs.

•             Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practices.

•             Research new products and participate in the new product development process.

Desired Skills and Experience

Education and Experience:

•             Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience

•             Minimum 3 years business analysis experience, prefer at least 1 year  in Financial Services

•             Understands Internet and web-based technologies as well client/server architectures

•             Possesses excellent understanding of internet consumer products and/or personal lending markets

•             Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of projects

•             Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging

•             Preferred experience working in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

•             Fluent with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; familiar with MS Project, Visio, and SQL
