Candidate must be prepared to:

Ø  Elicit requirements, from subject matter experts, that are logically consistent and complete for the semantic domain

Ø  Acquire semantic modeling skills in Owl , and some proficiency in Sparql

Ø  Apply logical reasoning and natural language skills to the articulation of rules in a canonical form

Ø  Work in an agile environment

Ø  Bridge between business subject matter experts and technical resources for the implementation of models to drive applications

 

Skills

Required

Ø  Extensive experience in financial services fields, preferably banking and compliance

Ø  Minimum of 3-5 years experience in business requirements gathering, documentation and modeling

Ø  Experience with any of Ontology, Taxonomy, XBRL, FPML, BPMN, OWL, ORM or Concept Modeling

Ø  Aptitude for logic, preferably with some training and/or understanding of rules; SBVR.

Ø  Excellent analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements and conceptual models

Ø  Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications interacting professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Desirable

Ø  A background in IT/computer services, consulting or related areas

Ø  Knowledge of semantic modeling
