Network Security Engineer ( IBM ISS / NIPS )

 

Location : Collegeville PA.

Rate: Market

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

•          Provide technical support in the resolution of technical issues for IBM ISS NIPS solution

•          Responsible for  Network Security device configurations, monitoring and management

•          Provide input on industry best practices for upgrades and new designs.

•          Responsible for new IPS deployments, upgrade execution and IPS retirement.

•          Provisioning, Monitoring and management  of Firewall/Intrusion Detection / Prevention System using  tools

•          Manage Enterprise Intrusion Detection / Intrusion Prevention Systems IBM ISS, McAfee Intrushield etc.

•          Administration of security related logs and events via console activity to determine cause of security related events or to identify potential security related risks.

•          Identify security incidents through log investigation, correlation and analysis

•          Report and investigate on anomalies outside the expected norm.

•          Review of escalated / re assigned incident tickets and co-ordinate with resolver group for the implementation of solution.

•          Incident reporting & Analysis
