Location: NYC

Duration: 2+ Months

Rate: Market

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

Candidate should have good understanding on:

• Create, maintain and update the cable/ patch panel/ rack / cross connects inventory and as built records using tools and adhere to methods of procedures.
• Refer inputs from various tools and validate into appropriate systems.
• Identify discrepancies in existing records, Cross verify on as build data and update/correct into respective systems/tools.
• Co-ordinate with other teams to gather relevant information for record updating in systems.

 

Work Experience Requirements

• Around 2 years of experience in telecom inventory maintenance (e.g. but not limited to Rack/fiber/power/patch panels etc...)
• Good understanding on fiber connectivity in data centers/ meet me rooms for carriers
• Good understanding of inventory updates in various systems 
• Education & Technical / Professional Certificates
• Science graduate or engineering degree or equivalent

 

Key Skills

• Inventory updates and best practices for data center environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with cross functional team is must
• Strong oral & written communication skills communicate with internal and external customers
• Advanced working knowledge on MS-Office suite & Visio
