Job Description:
Our client will be replacing its’ current HR/Payroll system with a new HRIS platform.They are looking for an expert to come in and help with data conversion from old/legacy HRMS to the new HRIS Platform. They are currently using Lawson HR/Payroll V9.0.0, which is running on Unix servers and DB2 Database. They need a technical expert who is VERY FAMILIAR with Lawson HR and Payroll database tables and can write scripts to extract data from Lawson and export that into the format specified by new HRIS System.
The ideal candidate would be local and must have the following expertise:
• Must have Lawson HR/Payroll system experience (any version) and strong knowledge of database tables and data structures
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in PL/SQL (stored procedures), STRONG SQL (no DBA or DB developer)
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oracle or DB2 or SQL.
• Must have played a pivotal role in a major data conversion project (from Lawson to any other system)
• Current hand-on programming experience required; current technology environment includes PL/SQL, SQL, ETL, Unix scripting, etc.
• Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment, and production support
• Must be able to multi-task on various initiatives as candidate may be working on various data conversion programs during a given day or week
• Good communications skills, appropriate for a broad range including business stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, offshore providers, and technical resources
