Description:

 

Responsibilities :

• Ability to provide infrastructure and platform sizing for projects, including hardware and software requirements

• Plan, design, and execute performance tests

• Architecting, designing and optimizing Tableau platform for business users (include troubleshooting performance, environment and availability) • Develop and document technical architecture, system designs, performance test results, and other technical implementation aspects • Define and offer guidance on best practices for implementation and integration of the Tableau platform

Qualification :

• 5+ years of product implementation, systems integration, or development experience

• 3+ years of experience with Tableau installations, configuration, and administration

• Tableau 8.x - including experience with connecting Tableau to multiple disparate data sources and working with relational databases • Demonstrable ability in designing new workbooks as well as optimizing existing workbooks for business users

• Must be comfortable with advanced Tableau topics such as complex calculations, table calculations, parameters, geographic mapping, data blending, extract optimization

• Strong technical background with o complete understanding of data warehousing, architectures, OLAP, OLTP data sets o Tableau server, processes, setup and sizing o knowledge in designing/configuring/implementing security, data model and self-service environments in Tableau o strong Tableau development experience o strong working SQL knowledge o strong analysis skills

• Solid knowledge and experience with Windows Server and networking technologies

• Great communication and inter-personal skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Comp Sci and related discipline

• Background in gathering business requirements and translating them into visualizations and specifications

 

• Pluses :

• Prior consulting experience preferred

• Exceptional customer service skills
