Location: NYC

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Market

 

This position will primarily work on :

•             Participate aspects of the software development process including, requirements, designing, coding, unit testing, quality assurance, and deployment

•             Work in a collaborative team of software professionals

•             Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security policies.

•             Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document in solving business problems for one or more business areas

•             Recommend, schedule, and perform software maintenance, improvements and upgrades

•             Assume responsibility for issue resolution for production systems and provide tier 2-3 production support

Qualifications:

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent exp

•             Minimum of 7 years of application development, primarily using .NET

•             Minimum of 5 years of SQL Server experience, including development stored procedures

•             Experienced in VB .net/  C#

•             Demonstrated ability to acquire technical knowledge and skills quickly.

•             Excellent problem solving skills.

•             Strong planning and organizational skills.

•             Excellent communicator - both technically as well as with business stakeholders

•             Confident and capable of challenging leads around architecture, design, and able to drive global resolution of issues

•             Experience with leading Enterprise wide and global technology project initiatives. Ability to drive the processes; align technology solution with business goals; provide work estimate and motivate teams

•             Ability to interface with Business stakeholders, senior management & communicate project updates.

•             Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues

•             Ability to work in a team environment under aggressive timelines.
