Responsibilities:
On-Project Responsibilities:
- Ability to work on Reporting/UI Design deliverables that go from UI prototypes, to mock-ups to a finished product reporting interface.
- Brainstorm broad concepts and ideas of various reporting designs, both individually and with the team, and translate those into a consumable, tangible objective.
- User & Design flows, experiences, and mockups with product specs that can be prototyped Contribute to high-level strategic decisions around report designs, Data visualization and creative direction.
- Expertise and experience working with Qlikview to develop Rapid applications, Proof of Concepts and mockups
- Understand client requirements, business processes and data sources and define project objectives accordingly
- Assist with data identification, data acquisition, data cleansing, data preparation, completeness testing, data loading, etc
- Write scripts to analyze data based on business rules for ad-hoc analytics projects and/or development and implementation of reusable data analysis tools
- Identify data quality issues and recommend the best course of action to address them
- Creating Business and functional specifications at the level necessary to extend or customize existing proof of concept product
- Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements, workshops, business process descriptions, use business case scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
- Serve as the conduit between the internal customers, and the software development team, through which requirements flow
- Develop project documentation, testing materials, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results
- Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
- Create and present quality dashboards
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports
General Responsibilities:
- Lead data analysis client engagements, including scoping/budgeting/resourcing, coordinating and controlling project activities
- Identifying new business opportunities, preparing RFPs and other business collaterals
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge. Possess in-depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
Qualifications:
Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's in Information Management, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- 3+ years experience in data visualization, MIS and Reporting
- Experience in Data Visualization, MIS and Reporting in a Big-4 or similar consulting environment would be a plus
- Proven experience of successfully managing and delivering services to large, multi-national clients
- Certifications like Qlikview, TABLUEA, SPOTFIRE, etc, would be an advantage
Skills Required:
- Strong Knowledge of the Data Visualization Tools (Qlikview, Spotfire,TABLEAU etc)
- Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and first rate interpersonal skills at all levels
- Ability to communicate with different levels Ability to deliver work within tight timescales, to budget and to a high quality
- Excellent team player but also excelling in working on own initiative
- International business experience preferred
