Java Developer With SOA

 

Location: Sacramento, CA

Job Description:

 

·         Mandatory: Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Java Enterprise Edition development

·         Mandatory: Minimum of five (5) years of experience with XSD and SML. (Must be able to produce XML Schemas using standard XML.)

·         Mandatory Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Web Services development using a WSDL first approach

·         Mandatory: Minimum of three (3) years of experience with the Eclipse development platform

·         Mandatory: Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture. (Must demonstrate familiarity with SOA concepts, approaches and solutions.)

 

Highly desirable:

 

•             NIEM

•             WebSphere

•             CAM Editor

•             ESB experience

 

Preferred:

 

•             Oxygen XML Developer

•             soapUI

•             Java EE6 including CDI

 

 

Roles And Responsibilities:

 

The Programmer will be required to design and implement the solution while ensuring the project’s design is aligned with the Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) Technical Architecture and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Seven Conditions and Standards for enhanced funding opportunities.

 

The programmer will be responsible for collaboratively designing, developing and testing the real time interfaces between the three State Automated Welfare Systems (SAWS) and the California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment and Retention System (CalHEERS). The programmer must be able to associate the current SAWS functionality into a technical solution. A gap analysis will need to be generated against DHCS’s MEDS As-Is state in order to reach the desired infrastructure. The contractor will gather requirements from additional sources (State CIO, Federal Agencies (CMS, ONC), State HIE, CHHS Agency, and others) in order to design interoperable technical solutions that are modular, message driven and service focused in nature.
