SUMMARY:

The hiring team is seeking candidates with Good Dynamics (Good for Enterprise or BES)

The Good Dynamics Engineer is a technical role providing third line support for Virtual, Mobile and Remote systems within the Americas region.

The successful candidate will execute planned support activities and maintenance including mobile application delivery and infrastructure changes. They will also diagnose and resolve real-time incidents including access and performance issues. The candidate will do this while collaborating with a team of global based resources, collectively providing transparent day to day production support for the enterprise mobile estate.

The Good Dynamics engineer will be encouraged to provide first class value added services including automation, knowledge transfer to L1/L2 support teams, execution of project work, deep dive investigations, and consultancy to a diverse client base incorporating application development teams as well as front and back office business units.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Providing control, manageability and integrity of the environment to maximize service availability to the users, and to provide reports and process controls as required by the regional manager.

The Good Dynamics engineer will be responsible for constantly reviewing the environment and suggesting proactive improvements. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the capacity and performance metrics for the environment are reported, understood, and used to ensure the future stability and performance for customers.

·         At least 2 years’ experience managing Good for Enterprise, Good Dynamics, or BES in an enterprise environment

·         Experience scripting (e.g. PowerShell) in an enterprise environment

·         Familiarity with SDLC in an enterprise environment

·         Working knowledge of Citrix XenMobile a plus

·         Ability to manage small projects independently

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to work under pressure and to keep things moving

·         Demonstrate patience, creativity, and conflict management skills

·         Proven extensive experience of supporting end user environments

• Design of LV and HV wiring harnesses
• Device Transmittal, reading the wiring schematic
• All necessary phases and gates related to Automotive Product Development Process
• DVP&R and DFMEA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create RFQ to be submitted to potential suppliers
• Build a great communication channel with the supplier
• Have weekly meeting with supplier to track the product status
• Write technical specification related to the harnesses
• Review Device Transmittal (DT) submitted by all module groups and update them.
• Maintain DT database
• Create/modify logical schematic
• Review the CAD 3D Model and 2D prints for accuracy
• Work with CAD engineer to properly route the harnesses and define the attachment mechanism and attachment points
• Work with packaging team to package the harnesses into the vehicle.
• Work with Karma plant personals to support any activities at the plant such as harness assembly and rework as necessarily (Splicing, taping etc.)
• Work with cross-functional module groups
• Review the DFMEA/PFMEA with supplier and provide the input
• Create component test matrix/legs in accordance to Karma DVP&R
• Write CRs (Change Request) and release the harnesses in Karma eBOM
• Support SQA in supplier PPAP process
• Support Certification, Safety, and Vehicle Integration Groups
• Support other wiring engineers and coordinate the changes
• Represent Electrical Group in packaging meetings related to wiring harnesses
• Provide weekly report
• Stay up-to-date with the latest wiring/connector standards
• Meet all MRD dates, delivering high quality harnesses in line with program timing.
• Follow the direction provided by the immediate supervisor and execute the task
• Attend the department meetings
• Visiting supplier’s plant to become familiar with their manufacturing process

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s is a plus
• 5-7 years automotive related wiring harness experience at either OEM or supplier level
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Good analytical skills
• Good Supplier management skills
• Willing to learn and apply new technologies used in Automotive Industry

Preferred Qualifications (In addition to required)
