SAP SAP/UAT Preparedness Consultant

 

Location: New York, NY

Duration: Long Term

Salary: Market

 

Responsibilities:

 

The SAP Preparedness and UAT Consultant should have through understating of SAP System Lifecycle Implementation.

 

Consultant shall:

• Coordinate with release management team on test cycle schedule and testing readiness
• Review test requirements, develop test plans and test cases for each project 
• Develop and communicate testing approach and present plans to stakeholders
• Write and execute test scripts for user acceptance and regression testing based on functional specifications and business requirements
• Document and validate test results and ensure the test requirements are met
• Coordinate with technology partners to resolve defects to ensure proper implementation
• Update and maintain inventory of test scripts developed for each project release and regression testing to ensure alignment with the current system functionality
• Data testing in parallel WISE (firm’s controller’s data warehouse system) / SAP 
• Building standardized Controllers Workbench (CWB) reports 
• Travel up to 25% may be required based on client requests/ commitments

 

 

Qualification:

 

3-12 years of User Acceptance Testing experience in large scale implementations at reputed organizations

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology and/or Business Administration

Prior SAP implementation experience a must

Experience in Change the Bank projects is a plus

 

Skills:            

 

Thorough understating of SAP System Lifecycle Implementation

Good understanding of Financial Systems and processes

Strong written and oral communication skills

Competency with spreadsheets, word processing and database software and business systems (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, etc.)

Demonstrable skills in content creation and management, product positioning, proposal development and oversight, and relationship management

Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines

Strong quantitative and problem solving skills

Team player and goal oriented

Proven ability to lead projects and engage with senior management
