Location: New York, NY

Duration: Fulltime

Responsibilities:

·         Work on a team to quickly advance the client goals and objectives, using great listening skills and creativity in forming and executing a solution

·         Define success criteria and report on progress to the criteria to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle

·         Bring experience in developing and managing comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements and company goals

·         Coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation

·         Proactively identify and resolve issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success

·         Identify areas of operational and technical change management impacting the status quo

·         Structure, propose solution options and solve problems from beginning to end

·         Set and continually manage project and program expectations while managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders

·         Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise more junior team members

·         Understand client business, strategic objectives, and develop relationships

·         Maintain and expand client relationships through delivery of high quality work

·         Provide project management throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, target benefit, budget, and timeline

 

Qualifications:

·         No 7 more than years of work experience, but with at least 2-3 years of consulting and project management experience in successfully leading projects that are on-time, on-schedule and within budgetStrong experience in creating and presenting communications for executive sponsors

·         Demonstrated strong communication skills; both written and oral to various audiences including technical and non-technical staff and all levels of management

·         Must be willing and able to travel to client work locations up to five days/week (50-80% travel)

·         An undergraduate degree from a leading academic institution (Finance or Economics preferred)

·         Experience with project management processes, terminology and tools – both waterfall and agile

·         Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

·         Knowledge of Procurement (P2P), and/or Record-to-Report (R2R) and/or Order-to- Cash (O2C) would be preferred, along with process re-design / optimization and migration
