·         3-5 years of industry experience on software development.

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

·         Experience with Unix operating systems such as FreeBSD and Linux or Windows

·         Experience programming in C and in scripting languages such as Perl and Python

·         Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization capabilities of Windows, UNIX, Linux, Apple and middleware

·         Fundamentals of network routing and switching

·         Experience in TCP/IP; web architectures and technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, XML, REST, PHP

·         Experience with database technologies

·         Vulnerability assessment including cross-site scripting, SQL injection, HTTP response splitting, OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25

·         Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Retina, and the STIGs

·         Experience writing applications using PKI, digital certificates, and cryptography

·         Knowledge of techniques to reduce web-application vulnerabilities

·         Experience implementing data-at-rest encryption system

·         Experience with software development to achieve FIPS 140-2 and Common Criteria certification

·         Experience with penetration testing

·         CISSP, GPEN, or similar information security certification
