Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Rate: Market

 

Requirement Details:

 

Process complex cost basis calculations and specific shares with a clear understanding of gain loss transactions

•         Calculate Wash sales for clients

•         Process journal adjustments from the balance report

•         Manage/Mentor a team of 3-5 professionals around cost basis reporting

•         Resolve client cost basis inquires via telephone and electronic channels

Preferred Experience and Skills:

•         Experience in a cost basis operations is necessary

•         Good communication

•         Portfolio accounting /Fund Accounting resources preferred

Education and Experience

•         College degree or equivalent related experience

•         Good Analytical skills

•         Strong familiarity with financial industry, good understanding specifically of Mutual Fund/Brokerage industry

Skills and Knowledge

•         Proficient in MS Word and Excel

•         Working knowledge of Cost Basis platforms like Eagle, Beta or Maxit preferred

 

Job Description:

•         Map transactions & activities from current system - Current State

•         Compare against new system - Future State

•         Conducting Due Diligence

•         Write BRDs

•         Write, run, test plans & test access

•         Escalate project status to business sponsors

•         Track project issues

•         Participate in projects, brainstorming sessions and testing, as necessary, on an ongoing basis

•          Interact with customers as needed on an ongoing basis

Skills and Knowledge

•         Proficient in MS Word and Excel

•         Working knowledge of Cost Basis platforms like Eagle, Beta or Maxit preferred
