Wealth Management Audit Associate

 

Location: NY/NJ

Duration: Fulltime

Salary: Market

 

·         The candidate should have exposure to Wealth Management products and regulations.

·         Candidates should also have auditing experience broadly in Financial Advisor conduct; sales practices and client suitability; advisory products and program strategy; in wealth management space.

·         Exposure to audit digital platforms; access/entitlements management; data quality and protection; and vendor management areas are a plus.

Qualifications:

·         CA/ CPA/ MBA/ Finance/ Accounting major with 5-7 years of related work experience in Finance/ Product Control within the Banking and Financial Services industry

·         Ability to develop excellent client and internal relationships

·         Ability to deliver high quality work within tight timescales and to budget

·         Team player but also able to drive individual level engagements and initiatives

 

Skills Required:

·         Experience with IIA Audit framework preferred

·         Must possess strong communication, writing, interpersonal and organizational skills

·         Ability to maintain independence and offer unbiased observations

·         Learns quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement

·         Competency with spreadsheets, word processing and database software and/or business systems (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)

·         Detail oriented

·         Demonstrable skills in content creation and management, product positioning, proposal development and oversight, and relationship management

·         Demonstrated ability to influence business partners

·         Ability to develop effective internal/external working relationships

·         Demonstrated ability to multi-task
