Required Qualifications

·         Overall 10 years’ experience in IT

·         2 to 4 years’ experience using HORTONWORKS data platform administration.

·         Performance Tuning of Hadoop

·         Experience with Configuration & Tuning of HBase Clusters

·         Extensive knowledge of Hortonworks ecosystem of tools and hands on experience is must.

·         Handled large Hadoop clusters in organizations.

·         Responsible for Cluster maintenance, Upgrade, Patch release, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Manage and review data backups, Manage & review log files

·         Good troubleshooting skills

·         Very good understanding of Partitions, bucketing concepts in Hive and designed both Managed and External tables in Hive for optimized performance

·         Develop scripts and batch job to schedule a bundle (group of coordinators), which consists of various Hadoop programs using Oozie.

·         Configured MySQL Database to store Hive metadata.

·         Works with ETL workflow, analysis of big data and loaded them into Hadoop cluster

·         Experienced on adding/installation of new components and removal of them through Ambari.

·         Monitored workload, job performance and capacity planning

 

Other Desired Qualifications but not compulsory

·         Certified in Hortonworks Admin

·         Experience working on other Hadoop Platform

·         Experience on ETL tool Infowork

·         Experience with R, Python, Scala

·         Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence advanced analytics

·         Healthcare Domain knowledge
