EDI Analyst

 

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Market

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems (report writing and database management) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of information for planning and decision making.
  • Maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of department management and staff.
  • Works with department personnel to evaluate software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing systems/databases to meet changing demands.
  • Often works with other departments and their personnel to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions.
  • May serve as department liaison to MIS/IT function. Uses established procedures and working under general supervision performs work.
  • Defers complex decisions. Responsible for small, defined elements of large projects.
  • Provides fundamental analytical support.
  • Consistently exercises discretion and judgment.
  • Ability encompasses a subset of the total knowledge required within the specialty area. Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures within particular field of specialization. Currently in process to develop skills through training and/or additional support to become fully proficient.

 

Required Skills (top 3 to 5/ non-negotiables):

  • 834 EDI experience – 2 years of testing and or processing an 834 file
  • Good communication skills, verbal & written
  • Excel Skills to be discussed in call
