Note: Candidate should be willing to do hands on coding and the interview process will be same as core Java committer.

 

Data/Information Architect Profile
• 14 + years of experience in designing EDW  and ensuring optimal performance, with atleast 4 years in managing large transformational design for modern BI architectures (in MPP and hadoop) is desired.
• Experience in understanding data requirements for specific applications or users, designing database structures to match with application capabilities
• Experience in designing Data Architectures,  Data modelling ( normalized and dimensional ) and building physical data models for SMP and MPP architectures
• Exposure to NoSQL databases for handling Big Data storage and processing needs
• Ability to design and develop Data Warehouses and Multi-dimensional Databases
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, data archival and data recovery
• Understanding of Data Standards, Data Architecture Design Patterns and best practices
• Demonstrated skills in Data Analysis, Data Migration and Data Integration using ETL/ELT and EAI and data virtualization technologies
• Experience in working with MDM, ETL, Reporting and Analytics teams
• Experience in working on large transformational engagements to design and implement Data architecture
• Strong knowledge in handling database performance issues and in database and SQL tuning
• Certifications in Data Architecture (Teradata, Hortonworks) and Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF is a plus
