IT General Controls Auditor

 

Location: New York, NY

Duration: Fulltime

Salary: Market

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Execute and Lead IT Risk & Compliance, IT Audit, ERP Advisory & Control Assurance engagements.

·         Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess in depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge. Sector relevance is a plus.

·         Perform walkthroughs and test of operating effectiveness for SAP General Controls, SAP Security and application controls

·         Work with the manager to effectively document the audit reports, findings and recommendations

·         Closely work with external audit teams and client management to execute the audit plan

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years of related work experience in leading and delivering IT SOX engagements, IT Audit and assurance engagements

Proven experience of successfully delivering / managing IT assurance services (including external/internal audit) to large, multi-national clients.

• Experience in an IT risk and control / audit environment.
• Good understanding of IT Management Frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL and regulations such as SOX
• Recognized accounting / auditing certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT) is a big plus
• String understanding of databases and operating systems such as Windows, UNIX from an audit perspective
• Familiarity with tools such as ACL, SQL queries is a plus
• A good understanding of IT data centre operations and a variety of technology platforms.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and first rate interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Ability to deliver work within tight timescales, to budget and to a high quality.
• Excellent team player but also excelling in working on own initiative.
• Willingness and ability to travel upto 15%
