Opportunity Description

 

We now have a fantastic opportunity for talented Engineer in interiors for IP, Seat/Belt and Trims to join our team

 

Key Responsibilities

 

•             Min 7 Year experience in design and development of complete interiors for IP, Seat/belt and Trims with 2 complete program life cycle exposures.

•             Proficiency in 3D modelling utilizing CATIA V5 (minimum of 5,000 hours or 3 years)

•             Product experience in IP, seats/Belt, A,B, and C Pillar trims.

•             Expertize in Plastic injection mould process, mould flow analysis.

•             Analysis of styling surface for manufacturability.

•             Familiar with GD&T, DFMEAs and DVP&R and test regulation.

•             Knowledge of energy management solutions resulting from dynamic events.

•             FEA setup, boundary condition development, and correlations to physical testing. (Defining constraints).

•             Physics-based engineering model tools to optimize design parameters

•             Experience working with automotive OEM's and Interior suppliers

•             Material knowledge pre/post processing (including sink mark analysis).

•             Engineering calculations for structural components is preferred.

•             Automotive interior work experience is preferred.

•             Ability to analyse 3D Math data and review designs utilizing Vis-Mock-up
