Lotus Notes Developer

 

Location: Reston VA

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Market

 

The position will be responsible for Lotus Notes/Domino development tasks, integration with J2EE applications, and level-3 production support. Most work will be performed during business hours, but the candidate will be required to be on call and provide afterhours support when needed. Applicant must be a self-starter and be able to work in a team oriented environment

 

Must have:

- BS/BA degree in a related field, i.e., Business, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or have equivalent work experience

- Extensive Lotus Notes client and Domino web development experience (8.5.x). 8+ years

- Understanding of Domino architecture and required infrastructure

- Must have extensive JAVA coding experience within Domino

- Must have extensive LotusScript coding experience.

- Comprehension and application of OO principles

- Firm understanding of REST Web services and XML

 

Nice to have:

- Financial institution and/or mortgage application development experience

- Exposure and understanding of Agile principles

- Extensive JavaScript, HTML, and XML experience

- Experience working with COM API

- J2EE Development experience

- Experience with open source Java frameworks Spring, iBatis, Hibernate, struts, JUnit

- Experience with Lotus Notes/Domino administration

- Exposure to Notrix
