QA LEAD with Siebel Testing 

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 months

currently seeking a QA Lead to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the build out and day to day operation of  quality assurance, automation toolset, improving the implementation team’s quality, efficiency and production to successfully onboard new clients.  The candidate will manage and grow team members/build out the team where necessary.  The candidate will be responsible for assessing the impact of release schedules as well as designing, plotting and executing test plans and strategies.  The candidate will also coordinate automation processes in the testing of all software release types (Major, Enhancement/Service Pack The candidate should have experience with functional testing and automation testing frameworks and tools

Responsibilities:

·         Managing team members and the build out of the testing group

·         Coordinating testing efforts across multiple organizations, groups and teams (both internal and external)

·         Define scheduling and balance workloads of tasks across given resources

          Experience in Siebel Testing must

·         Manage all activities relating to the below:

·         Designing, plotting, executing and publishing new test plans for enhancements and defect correction

·         On-Going build out of regression test bed

·         Capturing messages and expected results to support automated regression testing

·         Performing difficult and complex duties utilizing advanced techniques and an extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles

·         Training others, including offshore resources, in the context of a team setting

·         Utilizes independent decision making regarding engineering problems and methods for resolution.

 

As dominant application stack is Siebel, it would be good if candidate has Siebel Testing OR leading the QA team for the same”.
