•             The Software / System Testing is becoming increasingly important within the automotive industry as a whole. Vehicle makers are imposing many new and innovative functions that require a high level of Testing before releasing a car.

•             New business wins and increasing safety standards awareness have created the need to further strengthen the software testing involved in product development cycle. This role offers the opportunity to cover all technical aspects of software / system testing for safety critical automotive application.

•             Test engineer validates new automotive software and system, respecting quality requirements and time-to-market restrictions.

 

What you’ll do

 

•             Working with counterparts in customer organization, develop a clear and shared understanding of Software Testing requirements and constraints

•             Perform Requirement analysis

•             Develop Testing Framework, Test Plan, Schedules, Test Cases and Templates

•             Perform Software Testing (Mainly Unit Testing)

•             Perform System Testing (Mainly HIL Testing)

•             Perform automation for Testing activities using Customer tools

•             Report incidents to development team

 

What we are looking for

 

Essential:

 

•             Engineering Degree at Bachelor’s level in Electronics / Electrical Engineering

•             5+ years of experience in an OEM or Tier-1 as a Testing Engineer

•             Excellent working knowledge in the system testing e.g. HIL Testing

•             Experience in white / black box Testing

•             Experience in Test case development from requirement

•             Experience in HIL Tools e.g., VT System, dSPACE

•             Good knowledge of “C” and Microcontroller

•             Excellent communication and collaboration skills

•             Demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignments

•             Handle multiple customer assignments and travel locally and overseas on short-term assignments, primarily to customer engineering sites

 

Desirable:

 

•             Working knowledge in the software testing e.g. Unit Testing

•             Experience in Unit Testing Tool e.g. Tessy/ CANTATA/ RTRT

•             Experience in Static Analysis e.g. QAC, Polyspace

•             Experience in one or all of the following:

•             Test Automation scripts – Perl / Python etc.

•             Safety Critical Automotive Application

•             ISO 26262/IEC 61508
